The activity is meaningful, though much of it remains recruitment rather than deployed proof.
One application gives the argument a concrete shape: a private reporting tool is designed to place evidence onchain without publishing the sender's identity and has entered an official application list. Night Ash Security Directorate will examine whether evidence remains authentic, access can be revoked, and authorized investigators can proceed without exposing the reporter. Privacy must protect a person without dissolving accountable procedure.
Polygon's side of the lane concerns settlement volume. A euro stablecoin has launched on the network, cumulative transactions have passed eight billion, and a sharded payment-channel test claims validation at 5.8 million payments per second. Such capacity is useful for high-frequency and agent payments, but throughput alone does not establish finality, reserve quality, dispute handling, or service during partial failure.

That discipline can make confidential participation and fast settlement compatible rather than forcing institutions to choose one at the expense of the other.
