Research Documentation

The research mandate, analytical methods, public data routes and publication standards.

Read the date at the right level

News, the Black Ledger, Economy and Xai Chronicle retain their own editions and observation cutoffs. A newer publication timestamp does not turn an older measurement into a new observation. Research revisions and translations are separate from the date of the event being discussed.

When citing a report, retain its title, URL and publication date. When citing a number, retain the dataset, observation date, unit and measurement window. Include the assumptions when referring to a scenario.

Research standards

Preserve record identifiers, units and observation dates. Check the applicable schema and do not combine fields from different snapshots as though they formed one release. A missing measurement is not zero.

Public analysis and conditional scenarios should retain the same qualifications when quoted or transformed into another format.
