Recorded day by day, append-only. New notes continue at the end of the volume, and words already written are not revised. When something is wrong, a separate correction stands beside the error; that, too, is part of the history.
The writer is Soby, one of the co-founders of Ex Populus. Over the years he has signed in public, worked through nights behind the scenes, and most often written down the day's events after everyone else had left. These entries record what he experienced, heard directly, and checked.
Quiet days receive one line; turbulent days receive as much space as they need. The record begins on January 1, 2021 and contains one entry for every day without a gap.

In the afternoon, Azhen merged the Raijin settlement timestamp fix and replayed the previous day's data transaction by transaction. After both discrepancies fell to zero, she confirmed that player settlement amounts were unaffected and attached the review results to the operations record.
The chronicler rebound the July dossier in chronological order and placed a yellow marker on the scheduling update page.
Sisyphus withdrew the XAI held on the exchange to a self-custody wallet, wrote down the recovery phrase, and checked the incoming transfer record once more.
The night watchman opened the Sentry Node laptop and cleared out the dust. After restarting it, he checked every alarm record before fastening the cover back into place.
Before leaving work, Ah Zhen checked the Raijin settlement records line by line and circled two timestamp discrepancies for the next day's repair list.
The docket gained a procedural line: the schedule was updated and the case continued to move forward. Some read the line as a turning point; others replied only, "Do not guess." It closed at $0.00638, down about 2% from the previous day. The recorder notes: a docket never tells you in advance whether there is a road behind the door.
The buyback bulletin was archived; the burn address saw no further movement.
The buyback burn address showed no further movement. The chain continued producing blocks, and sentry uptime remained normal.
Weekend, $0.0069. Another small transfer reached the burn address, and still no one discussed it.
The numbers in the burn address did not turn around, and the group remained quiet.
The first batch of repurchased token was transferred to burn address, but no one in the group answered the call.
The monthly buyback bulletin increased its commitment for the first time: the amount doubled from the previous period, and the policy changed to burn 100% after repurchase; previously tokens were bought back but not burned. It closed at $0.0068, and the order book did not react. The Night Watchman said in the group, "The wording changed. Did no one notice?" No one replied, and the recorder wrote it down.
There is still no change in the buyback wallet, and only the night watchman in the group reported node online.
