Sentry Names Are Set; Setup Questions Remain

Work on the node documentation was underway, but the community was still asking questions using broad words such as “node” and “key.” The sentinel node's name was formally settled as Sentry Node, and its key was named Sentry Key. Shared names gave the team and community the same concepts to point to and made the order of operations easier to explain.

A creative chronicle combining project history with imagined scenes. Story events are not verification of network activity.

Work on the node documentation was underway, but the community was still asking questions using broad words such as “node” and “key.” Without consistent names, A-Zhen would struggle to distinguish equipment, software, and participation credentials in the installation guide.

The sentinel node's name was formally settled as Sentry Node, and its key was named Sentry Key. A-Zhen brought both terms back to the draft guide and checked for sentences that might make a newcomer think obtaining a key meant the node was already set up. The Night Watchman adjusted the wording of the questions he planned to ask.

Shared names gave the team and community the same concepts to point to and made the order of operations easier to explain. Naming them did not disclose the configuration requirements. A-Zhen still needed to turn the terminology into steps, and the Night Watchman was still waiting to check whether ordinary equipment would suffice.
