Background: The card prototype was still being refined, while people willing to try it and offer feedback were gathering on Discord. Night Watchman spent much of his time in the community; he wanted newcomers to get a reply, but worried that too many questions would be hard to keep up with.
Today: On Saturday, the Discord community passed 200 members. Half-jokingly, Night Watchman appointed himself an “unofficial support desk” and began watching for recurring questions and newcomers whose posts went unanswered. He wanted to make replies clear, so discussion would not become chatter among familiar names alone.
Impact and next steps: The community was no longer just a few acquaintances trading messages; keeping responses moving had become part of the work. Night Watchman planned to organize the common questions and see whether others would take turns watching the channel. No formal arrangement was in place yet.
