A 150 million XAI minting plan revises the expected halving timetable

Diablo announced a plan to mint 150 million XAI over the coming months, citing the recently approved DAO proposal. The announcement described controlled minting as support for ecosystem growth and the long-term token model. It set out intended issuance, not a report that the entire allocation had already been minted or distributed.

Diablo announced a plan to mint 150 million XAI over the coming months, citing the recently approved DAO proposal. The announcement described controlled minting as support for ecosystem growth and the long-term token model. It set out intended issuance, not a report that the entire allocation had already been minted or distributed.

The accompanying timetable placed the next emissions halving around August 2025 and another in early 2026. Both were estimates dependent on factors including network activity and token velocity. A projected reduction in the emission rate and a scheduled mint were separate supply mechanisms; the announcement did not fix an exact execution day for either halving.

The supply distinction prompted an immediate question from Pygor: was supply fixed, and would minting increase it? Joao directed the participant to the token-allocation documentation. That exchange identifies the point needing clarification without establishing a network-wide consensus. The minting plan and halving estimates alone did not explain every allocation balance or settle the distributional effect on key holders.
