A person with the same name appears: Musk officially announced xAI

In the afternoon, Musk tweeted to announce the establishment of an artificial intelligence company - xAI. One tweet, 59 million+ views, and global technology media followed up overnight.

Someone in the group immediately posted a screenshot: “Wait, aren't we called Xai?” It was the first time the community asked what would happen if the names collided. The argument ran late into the night. Some saw free attention—“soon every search for xai will find us”—while others felt uneasy: “Is sharing a name with the world's richest man a blessing or a curse?” Most reached a breezy, confident conclusion: one did AI, the other games; they would stay out of each other's way.

Inside the company, reactions split into two layers. The business side barely broke stride and continued its meetings on the node model. Only legal muttered in the corridor: “Different trademark classes, so in theory it should be fine… in theory.” No one answered. After all, the evidence for the XAI mark that had entered commercial use just a month earlier lay neatly assembled in the case file, while the company opposite had only a post and a website.

There was no statement, no negotiation, nothing happened that day. This is the most noteworthy part of this day.

Author's note: The first day of most disasters in history looks like nothing happened. Of the two XAIs, one wants to build general artificial intelligence and the other wants to build a decentralized game console. The tracks have no overlap. I write down this day because I have a bad habit - I don't believe in "water from a well does not offend the river".
