This was a development-status statement with remaining work, not an announcement that users could already stake or redeem through the planned system.
Later that day, Xai announced Sentry version 1.0.81 as an optional update for desktop and CLI users. Its patch notes described moving the challenger and Sentry Nodes from Arb Goerli to Xai Mainnet. The notice described a software change; it did not establish that every operator had upgraded at the time of publication.
The two announcements concerned separate implementation tracks. An optional node-software release does not demonstrate completion of staking stress tests or an audit, and a development estimate is not a fixed launch date. Their research value lies in identifying the next evidence to monitor: test results, audit findings and a distinct availability announcement.
