Final Form Shifts Toward a Premium, Off-Chain RPG
Ex Populus described a third design pivot that removed blockchain mechanics from the game and targeted a paid Steam release.

In a July 24 retrospective, Ex Populus said Final Form had moved first from a fully on-chain design to a hybrid model and then toward a conventional premium RPG. The latest direction removed blockchain mechanics, in-app purchases, battle passes and pay-to-win systems from the game itself.
The studio presented Steam as a target direction for the redesigned game. The intended premium model shifted the commercial focus to selling the game, while removing blockchain mechanics changed the role the title was expected to play in Xai's ecosystem.
