Three Wins, and a Newcomer’s Question

Background: Passes had only just begun reaching wallets, and the community’s attention was turning to card activities. Yet the lively guessing game broke Night Watchman’s moderation time into small fragments. He had to choose whether to focus on playing or also help those struggling to keep up.

Today: The community’s card-guessing activity went live, and Night Watchman got three answers right in a row. His streak lightened the mood, while some members began asking whether success came down to luck and whether they could rejoin after missing a round. He did not simply announce his wins; he steered the discussion back to the activity’s rules.

Impact and next steps: The activity offered members an easy way to talk about the cards, and it also showed Night Watchman that excitement brings questions from newcomers. He planned to explain the rules again in the next round and watch for anyone left outside the conversation after missing a turn.
