Rainbow Rumble was introduced as an obstacle-course racer on Xai, with free training and wager matches presented as separate ways to participate.
On August 13, the developer launched the game. It offered loaned Try-Out Unicorns and free training through August 23, while also describing CU and other rewards.
The loaned characters and free window gave newcomers a way to try the race without entering wager play. The launch notice establishes those terms, but not how many people used them or what rewards they ultimately received.
