Staking estimates expose denominator and timing effects
The Xai staking application update added sorting by esXAI reward rate, key reward rate and other columns, alongside a filter for the amount of esXAI staked in each pool. The accompanying administrator notice explained why a bronze pool could display an unusually high estimated rate: its esXAI reward allocation might be divided across a very small stake. Adding a substantial position changes that denominator, so the displayed estimate is not necessarily the rate available after entry.

The notice also identified 7-day sampling effects. Keys could have won more frequently than average, or a pool could have had more keys during that window than at the time of inspection. Both can lift a trailing estimate without establishing a durable yield advantage. Comparing pools therefore requires the stake denominator and the observation window, rather than ranking the headline rates alone.
