Raijin's new description and Riftstorm's visual overhaul had provided topics in quick succession, yet some people in the ecosystem forum still wanted more direct progress. While tending his node, the Night Watchman saw regular questioners beginning to lump together the silence around different projects.
The redemption queue remained stable, and esXAI emissions continued under their existing mechanism. All day, the ecosystem forum held just one question: 'Any news?' No one answered. The Night Watchman considered speaking for the project teams several times, then chose not to. He separated the possible concerns and planned to ask the next person whether they meant redemption, the games or Raijin.
A mechanism running as usual and a community receiving an answer were two different things; the day's silence exposed the gap. The Night Watchman no longer wanted to end a conversation with a vague 'everything is fine.' He would start with the specific question instead. Whether a reply would come remained unknown, and the empty space in the forum still awaited someone to fill it.
