A Node Prototype for the Team to Try

The internal development network had run steadily for a month, and the engineering team was working toward a March feature freeze. A-Zhen began writing a minimal node software prototype and limited its first use to the team. Until now, the team had mainly gathered experience through the development network; they now had a path toward a node prototype people could run themselves.

A creative chronicle combining project history with imagined scenes. Story events are not verification of network activity.

The internal development network had run steadily for a month, and the engineering team was working toward a March feature freeze. A-Zhen, who worked on the chain side, now needed to turn what they had learned about running nodes into software her colleagues could try.

A-Zhen began writing a minimal node software prototype and limited its first use to the team. She put startup and shutdown among the first things to check. When a colleague suggested letting outside partners try it early, she proposed finding the points where internal users might get stuck first.

Until now, the team had mainly gathered experience through the development network; they now had a path toward a node prototype people could run themselves. A-Zhen planned to ask colleagues to try it in their own ways and collect the difficulties they encountered. Whether it could serve a wider group remained to be tested.
