The Onboarding Questions Behind Rising Registrations

Raijin’s monthly report had just confirmed that registrations were still rising and rewards were still going out. There was no new announcement today. A day without public progress gave her a concrete next step: find the ambiguities in the instructions, then decide whether they needed rewriting.

A creative chronicle combining project history with imagined scenes. Story events are not verification of network activity.

Raijin’s monthly report had just confirmed that registrations were still rising and rewards were still going out. A-Zhen nevertheless had onboarding instructions to sort through. She knew a report could show that the system was running without showing where a first-time player might get stuck.

There was no new announcement today. A-Zhen walked through the onboarding process from a player’s point of view. In a draft, she separated “how to begin” from “where to get help,” so reward details would not crowd out the basic guidance. She treated the draft as unfinished and planned to check its easily misunderstood lines with colleagues before taking it further.

A day without public progress gave her a concrete next step: find the ambiguities in the instructions, then decide whether they needed rewriting. That could not yet show that players’ experience had improved, but it kept onboarding problems from disappearing behind the phrase “rising registrations.” She still needed feedback from people using the process.
