Xai announces completion of its first emission halving

Xai announced that its first halving had completed. Its explanatory notice described a maximum combined supply of 2.5 billion XAI and esXAI and an emission schedule tied to combined-supply thresholds. The initial threshold was 1.25 billion; the first two daily schedule bands were approximately 1712329 and 856164 esXAI. These are rounded figures from the published schedule, not an independently reconstructed record of the triggering block or actual daily issuance.

The announcement said staking thresholds would be adjusted according to the documented formula, with details to follow. A change in scheduled issuance does not by itself measure net circulating supply, selling pressure or a participant's income: unlocks, redemptions, reward allocation and demand remain separate inputs. The retained notices do not establish the community-wide reactions or personal reinvestment decisions previously attached to this event.

Earlier that day, the software channel posted version 1.1.11 as optional for desktop and CLI operators. Its retained patch notes described redundancy and fallback methods for assertions and claims. The notice carries a later edit marker; it documents release communication rather than a benchmarked availability improvement or proof that an operator installed the update.
