The patch arrived half an hour later and also fixed redemption of evolution credentials. Refreshing the staking page and then opening the evolution page brought up the redemption prompt. At 11:20 a.m., when the second stage began, 3,500 of the 11,280 evolved pigeons had been claimed. At 3:20 p.m., when the public stage began, 6,000 had been claimed. Just after 3:30 p.m., all were gone. The organizers then posted Tyson's remark that he could not understand why anyone would chase pigeons away when they had done no harm; someone made it a signature line.
