New Year greetings share the night with another test-net session

Background: On Lunar New Year’s Eve, Chinese-speaking members in different places were preparing to greet one another online, while the studio’s testing continued. The team was still checking the card-battle prototype, and Night Watchman and the others had to fit holiday greetings and another stretch of watchkeeping into the same evening.

Today: Members exchanged New Year greetings online, while the test net ran another night of battles. Matches continued alongside the stream of well-wishes; the holiday brought a brief sense of gathering, but it did not make the prototype’s unresolved problems disappear.

Impact and next steps: The community stayed in touch over the holiday, and testing carried on across the threshold of the new year, allowing the studio to keep observing how battles ran. The anomalies from the all-night test still needed to be organized; after the holiday, the team would bring the next round of feedback into development and continue addressing stability.
