Background: The team is rushing to prepare for a remote investor demo on Friday, and the usual playtest night conflicts with that work. They want to preserve the community’s weekly play session while making time to review the demo content and equipment.
Today: The playtest was moved to Thursday because the team has a remote investor demo on Friday. With the change, players still have a chance to meet and try the game, while Friday is left open for demo preparation. The short-notice rescheduling also means the team must inform regular attendees and check that the new time will not keep essential feedback away.
Impact and next steps: The playtest and demo preparation, which had been competing for the same time, are now split across two days. The community activity can continue, and the investor demo gets a full preparation slot. The team still needs to confirm Thursday’s attendance and check the remote demo flow before Friday; a smooth presentation will depend on preparation and equipment.
