Background: Before Valentine’s Day, the card system still needed explaining to players, while the whitelist mint was close at hand. The team had to describe how cards would enter the game and help first-time participants find reliable steps under countdown pressure.

Today: The official team first published a long article explaining trading-card tiers, deck-building, and the cards’ future use in the game. Soon after, a second announcement illustrated the minting process step by step and ended with an uppercase reminder: “First come, first served.” The day’s published quantities were 10,000 rare cards, 900 epic cards, and 380 legendary cards; when they were gone, they were gone. The countdown began at thirty minutes and reached five, when the announcement was reduced to “May the Force be with you.” That night, pre-minting opened to whitelist members only. Nine minutes after the opening, the narrator posted that the human-verification step had failed, preventing quantity entry or causing strange errors, and asked affected users to wait fifteen minutes. Five minutes later, another post said the cap issue would be fixed within twelve minutes. Night Watchman stayed until the end but did not get a legendary card; he did preserve screenshots of each error.

Impact and next steps: The card rules and scarcity were finally laid out for players, and pre-minting moved from countdown to actual use. Yet during the first half-hour after opening, the team’s first answer to the thousands watching the page was simply to wait another fifteen minutes. Night Watchman’s screenshots gave the team material for a review; fixing the remaining issues and restoring player confidence still lay ahead.
