On day 33 of the Odyssey, the previous day's announcement had distinguished minting a Pioneer avatar from actually gaining Pioneer status. The Night Watchman was helping participants in the group make sense of the tasks, while more of them wondered where all those daily actions would lead.
Today, the organizers urged everyone to move faster, saying that reaching the “final form” required speed. Some took this as a reminder to finish the day's task early; others asked what exactly they should hurry toward if minting did not grant status. The Night Watchman asked people to complete what they could today and kept their eligibility questions in a separate list.
