Genesis avatars in Tollan Universe had previously been eligible to cross a bridge, leaving holders to choose between their old position and the new arrangement. Today the project was drawing a line under that transition. One player who had held an avatar for two years only now went back to check theirs.
Tollan Universe closed the bridge for Genesis avatars. The supply that had crossed was fixed at 1,348, and their traits and rarity rankings were locked. Avatars that had not crossed would no longer be supported or receive holder rewards. The team also said it would burn another batch to reduce supply further. In the chat, the player found the avatar from two years earlier and asked whether there was any way to cross late. The answer was no.
For holders who had crossed, the count and rankings were now fixed. For those who missed the window, their old avatars lost support and reward eligibility, with no remaining path across the bridge. The player could only take stock of what they still held. How the further burn would be carried out, and how many avatars it would involve, remained to be explained by the project.
