The First Buyback Tokens Reach the Burn Address

Yesterday’s notice had doubled the buyback size and said that 100% of bought-back tokens would be burned. The first batch of bought-back tokens was transferred to the burn address. Yesterday there was only a written arrangement; today there was a record of the first transfer.

A creative chronicle combining project history with imagined scenes. Story events are not verification of network activity.

Yesterday’s notice had doubled the buyback size and said that 100% of bought-back tokens would be burned. The Night Watchman had pointed out the new terms in the group without getting a reply. Today the narrator wanted to know whether the treatment described on paper had begun to happen.

The first batch of bought-back tokens was transferred to the burn address. Nobody in the group answered the Night Watchman’s remark from yesterday. After checking the transfer, the narrator recorded the announcement and the first act of execution as two consecutive events. The Night Watchman continued reporting that his node was online; he did not turn the group’s silence into a claim of agreement.

Yesterday there was only a written arrangement; today there was a record of the first transfer. The new terms had begun to be carried out. But “first batch” did not mean the entire period’s buyback was complete, and no discussion had formed in the group. The narrator would keep comparing later transfers with the notice, while the Night Watchman kept watch over his node.
