Xai announces live staking pools

Xai announced that staking pools were live, linking to pool creation and staking interfaces. The notice said XAI holders could convert the asset to esXAI and stake in a pool. This marked a change from the earlier release plans to an availability announcement; participation levels and realized returns require separate observations.

A later community notice introduced wallet-verified roles for Sentry Key, esXAI and XAI holders, alongside educational material, a staking discussion channel and a pool forum. It described different posting rights for key holders and other token holders. These were community-access arrangements, not a statement that every participant operated a node or received the same rewards.

Operator versions 1.1.8 and 1.1.9 also received notices that day. Both were marked optional, with release notes explicitly saying there were no Operator changes and that the version numbers were being aligned with the website release. They should not be counted as separate functional upgrades or evidence of a new reward mechanism.
