Background: After the community entered its new season, members were adjusting to reassigned levels and roles. Sunday was otherwise quiet, but moderators still had to balance open conversation with keeping the discussion space usable.
Today: Someone promoted a meme-coin project in the chat, and a moderator quickly kicked them out. The action was brief, but it showed members that the new season’s order was not only about reshuffling roles: the moderation team would still intervene directly when faced with an obvious sales pitch.
