XAI broke above 0.95 on higher volume, returning to the doorstep of USD 1 for the first time in a month. An optional node software update added the New Year airdrop claim page and fixed the error that showed verified users as unverified. The Night Watchman added a line to his daily note: open your verification status and check it now, rather than waiting until the last day. He did not mistake the appearance of a claim page for distribution of the airdrop.
