DAG Reaches an Outside Shelf Amid a Market Drop

As the studio prepared Iron Pigeon, it was also looking for a place where players could more easily encounter an existing collectible series. Its own community knew the usual channels. Presenting the DAG Regular Series on an outside platform would require fresh thought about both the introduction and visitors’ questions.

A surge in oil prices weighed on risk assets, and BTC briefly fell to USD 37,500. That same day, the studio listed its DAG Regular Series on Magic Eden, putting its work on someone else’s shelf for the first time. The team discussed how the page should explain the series’ origins, concerned that outside visitors might see the items without understanding their connection to the studio.

The DAG Regular Series gained an external place to be seen. The studio now had to explain its work to visitors beyond the community that already knew its story. The listing could not tell the team how those visitors would understand or choose the items, so it planned to refine the description in response to the questions they asked.
