Fewer Voices at the Second Node Support Call

The node community had been discussing uneven challenge intervals and fluctuating rewards. Many wanted to hear how fellow operators were coping, though some had little patience for another long conversation. The Night Watchman, a longtime community member, prepared to host a second node support call on Saturday.
Forty people joined, half as many as last time. Rather than blame anyone for the smaller turnout, the Night Watchman asked what was hardest to deal with now. Some wanted to understand why rewards had fallen; others simply wanted to know whom to ask when the page failed. When the discussion scattered, he brought it back to what each person could actually check.
The smaller group showed him that mutual support could not rest on a single long call. He decided to begin the next one with a short list of clear questions, then invite participants to add their experiences. A firm explanation of the reward mechanism still had to come from people with the evidence to give it.
