RIFTSTORM's tracking disclosure limits launch-statistics interpretation

RIFTSTORM said on August 20 that its real-time in-game data tracker had been turned off at launch. The post then joked about supposedly real statistics and about no one watching in-game activity, including PAAM. Its humorous presentation is not a validated dataset of player behavior.

The disclosure leaves a measurement gap when assessing early usage. A later activity series would need a known collection start and comparable coverage before being used to reconstruct launch-period engagement. The post did not say when tracking resumed, whether missing observations were recovered or how many players were affected. It does not establish that every other source of product telemetry was disabled.
