Later that same UTC day, the developer said the vulnerability had been secured and all links replaced, while reiterating that the old invite should not be used. It also rejected association with crypto schemes. This was the developer's incident update, not a forensic account of how the link was compromised or evidence that no user suffered harm.
The incident concerns an outbound community link embedded in a distributed product. Replacing the destination addresses the reported route into the scam, while assessing impact would also require exposure dates and any affected accounts. The warning and subsequent update belong together; neither establishes a token-market event or an action by Night Ash.
