A Wallet Check Before Staking Cards

Final Form players were still learning how to commit cards and claim Chromos. Reports of failed actions kept appearing in the group, and the Night Watchman had to help newcomers tell a software problem from a wallet short of transaction fees.

The official advice was to keep at least 0.2 SOL in the wallet before committing cards or claiming Chromos. Roughly eight or nine out of ten problems reported in those days came from empty balances. The Night Watchman asked one player, who was about to keep retrying, to check first; the player realized all available SOL had been transferred out.

That gave players a concrete first step when troubleshooting. Still, an empty balance could explain only some failures. The Night Watchman decided to ask anyone with enough SOL who still failed to describe the exact step, so other problems would not be lost under the same advice.
