A Gasless Demo Raises a Question About Player Access

Final Form had just opened in early access, and players were still getting used to downloads, wallets, and onchain actions. On Friday, the hackathon winner presented a gasless experience demo, and the room rose to its feet. The demo gave the studio a direction to discuss and a concrete question: which warnings must remain when an action is simplified?

Final Form had just opened in early access, and players were still getting used to downloads, wallets, and onchain actions. People at the studio followed a hackathon to see whether anyone could make the steps before entering a game less cumbersome.

On Friday, the hackathon winner presented a gasless experience demo, and the room rose to its feet. A-Zhen paid closer attention to how the presenter helped a first-time user understand what they were confirming. Removing a gas fee prompt would help little if the confirmation itself became harder to understand.

The demo gave the studio a direction to discuss and a concrete question: which warnings must remain when an action is simplified? A-Zhen planned to compare its steps with the obstacles current players had encountered. Whether any of it would fit the game remained open.
