A Third Down Month, Then a Custody Transfer Notice

As March ended, preparations to execute XIP-1 were still pending, and successive losses had made the community sensitive to any large token movement. XAI closed March at $0.059, down 33% for the month, its third consecutive down month. The monthly figures showed that the decline had continued, while the migration notice supplied a reason for the on-chain movement to come.

As March ended, preparations to execute XIP-1 were still pending, and successive losses had made the community sensitive to any large token movement. A member compiling announcements meant to begin a monthly review, but a notice about a wallet migration interrupted the work.

XAI closed March at $0.059, down 33% for the month, its third consecutive down month. That evening, the project said it planned to gather XAI locked across eleven addresses into one new wallet on Thursday of that week to improve custody arrangements; people should not panic when they saw the transfers. The member marked it as a planned migration in the review, so a notice would not be mistaken for a completed transfer.

The monthly figures showed that the decline had continued, while the migration notice supplied a reason for the on-chain movement to come. It was not yet a record of execution. The community would compare any transfers with the announced scope; the wait for rewards and buybacks continued alongside the custody work.
