Background: The studio is still refining its card-game prototype. Friday playtests are a chance both to check how the game feels and to hear directly where players get stuck. Today the team wants to see whether players can return to a deck they have already arranged after leaving a match.

Today: Deck saving was added for the playtest. Players no longer have to pick their cards from scratch at the start of every match, and several testers responded positively. The team also watched whether saved decks were easy to find and could carry into another game.

Impact and next steps: The prototype has moved a step beyond the experience of a single match, and the positive feedback gives the team reason to keep the change for now. They still need to see how different players organize their decks, so that saving them does not make them hard to manage; those details are not settled.
