With the first roadmap draft keeping games at its center, the Final Form team had to decide where its existing visuals fell short of the experience it wanted. A-Zhen was concerned about the engineering load, while the artists worried that limited changes would leave old problems in place.

BTC continued moving sideways near USD 23,000. Work began on redoing Final Form’s art assets. The team first discussed how characters, card art and interface elements should fit together, then the order of changes. Some wanted a comprehensive redraw; A-Zhen cautioned that an unchecked scope would lengthen later integration and testing.

The rework gave the roadmap’s broad aim of improving gameplay a set of materials players could see. It also made the trade-offs between art and engineering concrete. Next, the team needed to choose which assets to tackle first and how to check the transition between old and new visuals. There was no finished result to show yet.
