Operator transition precedes staking V2

Xai scheduled Operator version 1.1.5 for April 11 at approximately 13:00 Pacific Time, with staking V2 targeted about a week later. The announcement warned that version 1.1.4 and older would not support keys participating in the new pools. This was a preparation schedule, not an announcement that pools were already available.

The planned update added bulk assertion and bulk claiming for challenges while removing the function for adding stake to the previous system. According to the notice, existing stakes would remain in place and continue accruing rewards, but further additions would pause until the pool release. Operators therefore faced a distinction between maintaining existing positions and adding new stake; the notice did not quantify future rewards or fee savings.

A separate Xai announcement said borrowing and lending against Xai were available through Dolomite. That notice introduced a different use of the asset from pool staking. It did not specify borrowing limits, collateral parameters or lending yields, and those terms should not be inferred from the Operator software changes.
