The Sentry sale notice first posted on October 25 carries a November 10 edit date. In that revised version, Xai said tokenomics and sale information had been released and expected sales to begin on December 6, 2023 through xai.games. It set an initial price of approximately $300 in Arb ETH per key, rising as more keys were sold.

The revised notice reported interest in bulk purchases of more than 100 keys and directed interested groups to a waitlist. It asked them to notify an admin in advance so the Foundation could try to accommodate them. It also said operators would receive network rewards that they could stake or trade.

Xai described Sentry nodes as lightweight, saying it had tested dozens of keys on a single laptop without issues. It expected substantially lower hardware, bandwidth and electricity costs than traditional nodes in other popular ecosystems.

The same revised notice reported more than 1 million daily testnet transactions and attributed this to a wallet-less, gas-less experience enabled by Thirdweb, which it described as a key partner. It expected mainnet to launch around the new year, with several third-party developers deploying games.

The notice described Offchain Labs as Xai's key technology partner, Ex Populus as its key gaming partner and the Xai Foundation as the ecosystem's lead. It referred to an already announced Team Secret partnership while pointing ahead to further strategic partnership announcements involving Tencent, LayerZero and others.
