One Page for the First Offchain Labs Meeting

The first video meeting with Offchain Labs was approaching. During rehearsal, some wanted to walk through the test notes page by page; others worried the details would bury the point. The page gave the meeting a shared starting point and forced the team to separate essential player experiences from implementation methods still needing validation.

The first video meeting with Offchain Labs was approaching. A-Zhen had to explain the game chain problems the studio had encountered over two years to engineers meeting the team for the first time. The list was long, while attention in a meeting was limited.

During rehearsal, some wanted to walk through the test notes page by page; others worried the details would bury the point. A-Zhen condensed the requirements to one page: explain frictionless wallets for players, gas-free play, and large numbers of small, frequent transactions first, then use technical details to answer questions.

The page gave the meeting a shared starting point and forced the team to separate essential player experiences from implementation methods still needing validation. A-Zhen planned to open with it; the other side’s response would have to wait for the call.
