A Full Research Team Sets Boundaries for the Holiday

It was Friday, and half the studio was already on leave, while game development and chain research still had year-end work ahead. Half the staff were away, but every member of the research group was on duty. That gave the holiday work a boundary: the group could advance its report without making decisions for absent colleagues.

It was Friday, and half the studio was already on leave, while game development and chain research still had year-end work ahead. A-Zhen’s research group had to decide which questions merited attention over the holiday and which could wait for colleagues to return.

Half the staff were away, but every member of the research group was on duty. They laid out questions from recent tests and their calls with Offchain Labs. A-Zhen suggested first checking how fees and throughput would affect game transactions, while postponing discussions that required other teams.

That gave the holiday work a boundary: the group could advance its report without making decisions for absent colleagues. Nitro remained the leading candidate, but the team still had to explain its technical strengths as choices the game developers could assess.
