205 Nodes Remain Exposed in the Vaults

Sentry Keys themselves could not be transferred, yet some holders had placed their associated XAI nodes in the MetaStreet and NodeFi vaults to obtain liquidity. For those still in the pools, the immediate question was no longer how to sell a key, but how to keep a collateral position from going wrong.

The official account issued an announcement headed 'Urgent' with a blunt opening: remove your XAI nodes immediately. It reproduced an earlier warning, and NodeFi confirmed that 205 nodes from the Xai community remained in the relevant pools as of that day, with their positions at high risk of default. Failure to repay a loan on time, or to withdraw a node promptly, could result in outright seizure of the node. The notice laid out the sequence: check the position, withdraw liquidity, repay the debt, then retrieve the node; contact NodeFi support if problems arise. In the chat, the Night Watchman said only, 'Something you cannot sell can still be lost.'

The narrator recorded the number 205: these were more than a handful of keys, though the figure did not mean every key had already been lost. More than 200 nodes associated with people who had bought keys in the early days were still in pools their holders could not control alone. Soulbinding prevented direct transfers, but it did not remove counterparty risk once a node entered an outside vault. The notice supplied an order for leaving; whether each holder could retrieve a node still depended on their debt and position.
