Sentry maintenance, mainnet access and a Tarochi invitation

On January 30, 2024, Xai announced Sentry software version 1.0.80 as a recommended update for desktop and CLI users. Its patch notes described infrastructure hardening intended to improve challenger stability. The notice set out different update steps for Windows, Mac and Linux; it did not report a measured reduction in failures.

A separate XAI_GAMES post described direct deposits and withdrawals between a major global exchange and Xai mainnet without a bridge. That was a statement about an exchange connection, not a performance result for Sentry. The post's wider exclusivity claim is not used here as an independently checked comparison with every other Arbitrum network.

The day's announcement record also carried an invitation to a one-day Tarochi playtest on Xai and asked players for feedback. An invitation establishes a planned test, not its eventual start, attendance or transaction count. It is therefore recorded separately from the software release and exchange-access announcement.

These developments concern different parts of the network: operational reliability, asset movement and application testing. Their proximity in time is not evidence that one caused another. A research assessment should follow each with its own observations before combining them into a claim about sustained demand.
