XAI's Price Weakens as Turnover Expands

The November 3 archival checkpoint shows a lower completed-day close and a second increase in recorded turnover; address counts do not establish wider ecosystem demand.

XAI's Price Weakens as Turnover Expands
Technical illustration

The completed November 2 UTC session closed at $0.00672 in the recorded XAI spot series, down from $0.00706 on November 1. Turnover nevertheless increased by $44,648.50 to $177,284.80. By the November 3, 15:00 Shanghai checkpoint, the 06:10 UTC futures sample put open interest at $1,311,408.50, another $30,915.70 below the prior checkpoint. A busier spot session therefore did not coincide with a higher closing price or higher recorded futures notional.

This combination is a reason to examine the quality of demand, not proof of a particular trader's positioning. Open interest includes opposing positions, and its dollar value moves with price. Funding settled at 0.005% at 04:00 UTC. XAI holder addresses rose from 51,894 to 51,900, but pool staking addresses declined from 13,996 to 13,994; Sentry key holders remained at 10,828. These categories measure different on-chain relationships, not unique players or game usage.

The historical reconstruction carries the October 30 macro pressure observation of 64 and explicitly lacks a fresh November 3 macro capture. Subsequent evidence would need to show whether lower prices attract persistent spot demand and broader participation; the archived checkpoint alone cannot resolve that question.
