Aave Proposal Connects Custodied Assets to V4 Borrowing

A governance request proposes one isolated hub where non-transferable receipts represent collateral held at Anchorage.

One receipt capsule connects a sealed custody chamber to a separate isolated lending pool.
Technical illustration

Aave Labs submitted a governance request for an isolated Aave V4 hub and spoke that would let institutional borrowers keep collateral with Anchorage while borrowing stablecoins onchain. The proposal uses a non-transferable receipt token and Chainlink infrastructure to synchronize custody balances and loan events. It does not move the underlying collateral onto Aave or give Chainlink custody.

This is a proposal seeking approval, not a deployed market. Its importance is the attempt to connect regulated custody with programmable lending while isolating the new trust assumptions from existing markets. Adoption will depend on governance approval, implementation controls, collateral verification and the economics of stablecoin borrowing; the announcement alone does not establish loan volume or institutional demand.
