Aave V4 Adds syrupUSDC Collateral on Arc
Aave Labs said syrupUSDC is live as a collateral-only reserve on a new Maple Spoke, with USDC as the borrowable asset.

Aave Labs reported on October 6 that syrupUSDC had been onboarded to Aave V4 on Arc by the Protocol Security Council. The asset is live as a collateral-only reserve on the Maple Spoke of the Arc Core Hub, with USDC as the borrowable asset. This is a new asset activation within the already operating Aave V4 Arc market, not a second launch of that market.
The approved structure exposes borrowers and suppliers to Maple loan-book credit risk, a cross-chain representation and an Ethereum redemption path. The review recommended a 20% collateral-risk premium, a 25 million syrupUSDC supply cap and a 23 million USDC draw cap. These parameters constrain the initial market; they are not evidence of deposits, borrowing demand or revenue already realized.
