Aave said on September 17 that deposits in Aave V4 had crossed $1 billion, describing the level as a new all-time high. The announcement came from the protocol’s official account and was presented as a cumulative deposit milestone.

The post did not publish a measurement methodology, chain-by-chain breakdown, net-flow history or independently audited figure. It therefore supports an attributed protocol milestone, but not a conclusion about revenue, profitability, unique depositors or future growth. Those wider implications would require additional evidence.
