Abstract says its chain will shut down on December 15, 2026, and users who do not migrate assets before then will lose access to their funds.
Abstract announced on October 6 that it is winding down and will shut its chain on December 15, 2026. Its live Migration Hub directs users to bridge assets off Abstract and warns that anyone who does not complete migration by the deadline will lose access to funds left on the chain. The hub lists the native Abstract bridge and several alternative routes.
Abstract’s updated terms describe the process as a permanent end to normal transaction processing and say no post-discontinuation recovery process is promised. That makes this an operational exit deadline, not merely a website closure. Users still need to check supported assets, destination addresses and completion steps for the route they choose; a submitted source-chain transaction does not by itself prove the migration finished.
