Arf Brings RLUSD Settlement Liquidity to XRPL

The first phase gives licensed payment firms short-term RLUSD working capital, while native pooled lending remains conditional on XRPL amendments.

Arf said on October 22 that it is bringing settlement liquidity to the XRP Ledger with Ripple USD. In the first phase, licensed cross-border payment companies can receive RLUSD directly for short working-capital cycles; Arf says repayment is typically due within one to five days. This is an attributed financing arrangement, not evidence that every payment corridor or customer is live.

A later phase would use XRPL’s proposed XLS-65 and XLS-66 lending features for native pooled credit. Ripple describes those amendments as subject to validator approval and says underwriting remains offchain. The announced first phase therefore matters as a new RLUSD liquidity channel, while the pooled protocol should not be described as deployed.
