Chainlink Starts 24/7 Equity Pricing With Explicit Off-Hours Limits

The feeds continue through weekends and holidays using derivatives-based off-hours inputs and smoothing, not an open underlying cash market.

Chainlink said its 24/7 market-data service is live. Official documentation describes continuous US equity streams for perpetual markets and smoothed tokenized-equity feeds for lending. On weekends and holidays, the off-hours price is derived from perpetual-futures markets and blended rather than taken from an open cash market. Chainlink warns that the method can lag sustained moves, depends on thinner derivatives liquidity and may stop updating if inputs fail; only selected assets qualify and access is limited. The launch extends pricing coverage, but it does not make underlying shares trade continuously or remove liquidation and stale-data risks.
