Chainlink Demonstrates Four-Chain Dividend Workflow

A Swift Hackathon runner-up used CRE and ISO 20022 messages to automate a tokenized-equity cash dividend across four blockchains; it was a demonstration, not a production launch.

Chainlink said its entry in Swift’s 2026 Hackathon Business Challenge automated a cash-dividend workflow for tokenized equities across four blockchains. The prototype used the Chainlink Runtime Environment to receive an ISO 20022 corporate-action message, schedule the entitlement snapshot and pay date, read positions across networks, calculate entitlements, run compliance checks and coordinate settlement and reconciliation.

The submission was selected as runner-up. It demonstrates a proposed registrar or paying-agent workflow, not a production deployment by an issuer, custodian or bank. This is distinct from Chainlink’s September 28 connection-layer announcement for bank-owned tokenized deposits: the newer work concerns servicing a corporate action across several ledgers and adds a completed hackathon demonstration, while institutional production adoption remains unannounced.
