Ether.fi Announces USD Stablecoin Powered by Ethena
Ether.fi announced its own dollar-denominated stablecoin, powered by Ethena. Its claim of more than $300 million in existing platform stablecoins is context, not the new token’s supply.

On October 6, ether.fi announced ether.fi USD, a dollar-denominated stablecoin powered by Ethena. The company said more than $300 million in stablecoins was already live on ether.fi and presented USD as a way to make dollar balances native across its products. That existing platform balance must not be read as the circulating supply of the new token.
The announcement establishes the product direction but gives no independently verified issuance, redemption terms, reserve composition, or adoption measure for ether.fi USD. Investors should distinguish integration across the app from a demonstrated market for the token; its economics depend on actual minting, redemptions, usage and the obligations of the parties behind it.
